Original device...2 months...screen falls out. Replacement device...2 months...keyboard stops working completely. Multiple resets/reboots will not fix. Enough with this piece of absolute junk. That's productivity now? Wait for a replacement every 2 months? After my Passport and Classic issues, the KEYone was the last chance. Bye BB.

If you used BB10, you are used to work arounds and sacrifices. Just hold the screen on and use the VKB.

I'll go ahead and do that if BBmobile refunds the cost of the device

    Hahahahaha! Have a like.

On a more serious note, for 3 months my KEYone has been flawless in regards to hardware. Software wise, I have a virus installed called Android.

    Get a refund, OP.

Seriously, I would either reinstall the OS or get a refund.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck. But that's all it was.

There are similar stories involving every brand/model that exists.

The sad reality is one negative experience looms over many positive ones. A lot of the satisfied users simply enjoy while understandably those with bad luck / issues will be highlighting.

What is the return process? Must you be the original owner and show proof of purchase?

Asking bc I may purchase one from Craigslist and don't wanna be screwed when something falls apart.

Is that because you will need a receipt when you call Blackberry for a replacement?

Its because your getting second hand and most likely a phone with issues. Just not worth it in my opinion.

i wonder if the company follows what their users -- as few as there are today - say about BB, in particular about the KEYone, perhaps the last gasp of the company. Alternatively, completely immune and delusional.

The KEYᵒⁿᵉ and Motion represent the FIRST gasp from the company. The company is TCL (BlackBerry Mobile).

Nothing but an amazing phone experience on my side. My KEYone is from launch day in NA, May 31st from best buy. Not one issue so far and I've already accidentally dropped it about 6-7 times already. Reception is great, everything working as it should, no lag, excellent battery life, great sound, etc. Easily the best phone ive ever used!
