In trying to clean up and streamline/optimize my K1, I am trying to delete similar apps and using only one.

Need some help here.

Which one do you think is better? Both seem really work well. I don’t need to have both so it would be good to hear your thoughts.

I'm using VLC. Plays everything, search works well. Regular updates, equalizer... but then again I've never tried MX player.

my problem with the Android system is that whenever I play a YouTube or video on any video player, is that I can't control the volume until it actually starts playing, so in most cases it's waaaay too loud to begin with and then by the time I react to turn it down, it's already disturbed everyone.
how do I correct this?

For those with MX player, did you purchase the pro version? Does it have any further enhancements beyond having no ads?
