    Is there a way to "add" multiple languages? When I was composing a message in German, it didn't really recognize the words so the words are underlined in red.

    In the "Language Preference" I have English and German.

    In the "Spell Checker" it seems I can only use one language or use "system language"

    Have you tried:

    Settings->Languages & Input->Keyboard settings->BlackBerry Keyboard->Input languages

    then toggle off "Use system languages", then toggle on English and German?

    the Priv was able to spell check and suggest/predict for me in English and in French (with accents correctly offered) but I find it hard to get the KEYᵒⁿᵉ to do it quite as well... is there something different or have I made an error in setting?

    Yes I tried but its only "OR" selection is circle not square.

    Did you follow down the menu selections I listed? After toggling off "Use system languages", you can select a bunch of languages. It's not an "or".

    With this solution you have to switch languages by pressing ALT+ENTER. But the question was: is there a way, that KEYᵒⁿᵉ recognise all languages who are selected? I don't think so!
