That used to be the pre-launch development code name for the Bold 9790. It's odd that the OP still refers to it by that name.

Looked at your profile to see where you live. Nothing there - and that's ok. None of my business! It seems even stranger that a whole area refers to it by that name, but yes - I'm focussing on the irrelevant - sorry! I never had the 9790, so don't know what export capabilities the text app has. Contacts have never been a problem for me as I use google contacts and once I enter my gmail account on a new device, mail, contacts and calendar all repopulate automatically. If you have a way of exporting to a memory card, then maybe that's the way to go.
