They look more like the Priv's but glossy. Same style as the Passport's keys.

So you basically have the PRIV's keyboard slightly larger, glossy with more clickiness

If it has the sort of feel that the Passport has it will be a massive winner in the PKB department. The Priv, while functional, was a disappointment IMHO in the PKB department.

It's clearly the Classic/Q10 style keyboard. Not large like the Passport for obvious reasons or cheap IMHO, like the Priv.

The Mercury keyboard is very close in both height and width to the PRIV keyboard. The Q10 keyboard is narrower and the Classic keyboard is taller.

Cistulli said that the keyboard is still a work in progress, according to PCMag.

Interested to hear more about the keyboard. I wonder how the keys stack up to the classic.

One question I would add - and maybe the passport folks or Priv folks can help - is whether or not shortcuts can be assigned to the capacitive keys?

To me they look like the same shape as the passport keys but the high gloss/glass look of the P9983.

You can do this with the PRIV physical keyboard so I would expect the same feature on the Mercury:

To me, the Classic keyboard looks MUCH better than the Mercury. It looks like the keyboard has a clear plastic look to it, right? I know it's still a WIP, so i'm really curious to see what the final is going to look like.

I care more about how it functions, you know, since a keyboard is for using and not looking, but that's just me, I'm crazy sometimes.

Some of us are just a little bit more evolved, so we care about functionality AND style

I'm not a fan of the Priv Keyboard. Just a little too cramped for me to use it successfully. Just needs to be a little less cramped. Bold or Passport style works for me.

Hey that keyboard is calls the Droid-Key-Board in short DKB, and different from the PKB like the one found on BlackBerry OS10 devices like the Classic, simply the DKB is not as comfortable and fast to use than the PKB.
    But what do you expect?
It's not the Queen of all, just a wannabe... LoL

Appears like that BlackBerry didn't entirely licenced the iconic BlackBerry PKB in the end, keeping that tiny little extra still to them self to stay apart between BlackBerry OS10 devices and BlackBerry patched Droid throwaway variations for the fast mass market.

We still don't know the exact dimensions of the Mercury, but these are scaled images. All three keyboards are about the same width. Both the PRIV and the Mercury keyboards are also about the same height, but the Classic keyboard is noticeably higher.

Yea, seen your image before, but I was talking about the "clickiness" (that we know from legacy BB devices) he was referring to; hence the highlighting of that part of his text.

We know vertical space was tight with the PRIV keyboard, but that is not an issue for Mercury.
