Who has that small of fingers? The classic worked because of the key size, and key height. The Priv and Mercury are for very tiny people with tiny little fingers. Like a child.

We still don't know the exact dimensions of the Mercury, but these are scaled images. All three keyboards are about the same width. Both the PRIV and the Mercury keyboards are also about the same height, but the Classic keyboard is noticeably higher.

Q10, Classic, Mercury keyboards are of similar height. The Classic and Mercury are a bit wider though.

But, conite, what's the point of doing a comparison that's not to scale?
You've got the Mercury at the same height as the DTEK60, while in one of the videos it looks shorter than the PRIV closed. And the heights of the Q10 and Classic look short to me.

It's supposed to be almost the identical height of the DTEK60. Bla1ze confirmed as much.

Yes, I think it is close to the DTEK60 in height, but you've made the Q10 and Classic too small which makes their keyboards look about the same height as the PRIV and Mercury, which they are not. But then maybe you were just having fun.

I'm just hoping that the Mercury's keyboard isn't plagued by the double typing problem. I went through about five keyboards on my Q10. If that thing wasn't so easy to take apart, I don't know what I would have done.

It's like the Passport SE and the Classic had a son, but the Classic cheated on the Passport and got laid with the PRIV.

That was a software issue, a major one of the perfect OS 10. It's almost impossible the same would happen on the Mercury.

No it wasn't, although it could be alleviated via the means of software.

It was a case of tiny copper circles inside the keys getting misplaced; re-adjusting them cured the problems.

Negative, it's a hardware problem that was "fixed" with a software update, basically the software would ignore double letters if the input is within a certain time.

Really? It's crazy. This means a lot (or some? I don't know how much widespread the issue was) of keyboards were faulty, or at least suffered a mediocre design. Well, I love my BlackBerries, and will buy the Mercury, but in fact I have to admit every BlackBerry I bought was defective (just three over the years, though, 9360, PlayBook and Z10), for either battery or sensor/screen problems. That's why I believe that the hardware reliability will improve with TCL, and that's why I believe that the Mercury will be one of the best BlackBerries ever.
