I read that somewhere don't remember where but I'm not sure. My point is that this PRESS thing could be the chance for blackberry to make a dent in sales. At least enough to warrant releasing more phones. Who wouldn't want a pkb device that charges it when they text someone.

The problem is how significant would the charged amount be?
Plus, believe me if it had that kind of tech inside you would be getting sd835 and 6 gigs of ram with it. That is a game changer. I find it highly unlikely close to impossible actually. Patents may be acquired but I also doubt BlackBerry did any R&D after the patent. I get your excitement but no.

Well thanks at least you get why I'm excited. This mercury device could just be an introduction to the new charge method. Who's to say that TCL doesn't have a high end consumer device up their sleeve that has that feature. I mean did any here even imagine that blackberry could make a touch sensitive physical keyboard? I know I didn't. This is RIM we are talking about. 5 years in the make fuel cell batteries. Heck if it charged my phone 10% for every 100 words typed, that is worth it.

Exactly! Heres hoping the mercury has this feature plus fast charging and a 3200mha battery. And a 626soc for good measure. 4 day battery life.
