I am getting my hands on a K2 as fast as I can, but need to make it through the next couple weeks without taking a hammer to this K1. I recently had to install whatsapp, and fossil watch app and garmin connect app. Seems to have take phone to a critical memory level. Sometimes locks up for 20 seconds at a time.

I have done the rendering trick, but that just saves CPU, memory is the real problem on this lemon.

Everyone says the hub is the issue, but even with my 4 email accounts it is rarely in top 10. Usually the issue is google now which unfortunately - love...

Any other tips other than just uninstalling things?

Try install Task Manager from the playstore. That will give you clear insight as to what is running in the background and then have the choice to kill an app or kill all.

Your banking app does seem to using excessive memory...

Yes, and so does the fossil app. I did not even have the fossil watch in same city as me when I took that snap.

    Will check it out. Thanks.
