It has been discovered and proven That release dates are somehow related to the weather.
The way to go about things of this nature is to condition yourself, not to expect it at all.

That way when it does arrive, you'll be so surprised with an elation bordering on insanity.
There have been reports recently that a man, having received his shipment (not a Blackberry) who took this advice was seen running naked through the streets yelling incoherently about his package.
Luckily the closest neighbor lives 10 mile from this person. It's somewhere in Kansas!!

I greatly prefer yyyy-mm-dd, because it sorts correctly. That's what in use for data files.

Files on my PC get named that way for sorting reasons like you've said. When I write the date, like on forms or something like that, I use the dd-mm-yyyy format.

Here's the way I look at it: I want to see a full real review. The previews with incomplete features makes all desire to purchase on the first day less appealing.
The 9800, the Storm, both crap, needed to be fully reviewed and tested in the real world.
I'm hoping that the k1 is not all hype. So I will use my Passport until I see something definitive.

Apparently, people are so insane as to convince themselves that "launches will be in May 5/" in a long string of numbered tweets actually means "launches will be May fifth".

When you confront them with that whole "in May" thing, they look at you like a dog with his head tilted and his ears up. It's like you're speaking Martian.

Except some retailers had May 5th and May 4th listed as the release date before those tweets. Not saying it's true, but you can't assume everywhere that has that is because of the tweets.

There were threads here talking about the May release because of these retailers started before the tweets. Let me find them...

Edit: I'm going to have to search on my PC. Don't know if it was a thread that got merged or it was a comment in another thread, but before the earnings call when we still thought it could release in April, some people were posting screens from a German site showing May 5th, think might be the same screens used in this thread, but was posted before to prove it was delayed before it was confirmed by BB...

fyi, it's "Croatian", not "Croation". And people are Croats, not Croatians. For some reason which is beyond me.

Btw, if it's of any significance (I don't even know what is it you guys are discussing here ), I actually saw that date on MediaMarkt's site about a week before I posted that here on CB. I posted the same info on a Croation forum on March 13th.
