I'm not sure any phone with buttons is waterproof
No water proofing.
Not if the screen pops out lol.
It could be, but first they need to have the screens stop ejecting....lol
Definitely not.
nope - not waterproof
Any idea if/when this device might come to the U.S.? As someone who carries two phones, I'm intrigued by the dual SIM slots. Been reading about t-mobile Digits service which is supposed to allow multiple #'s on one device, but haven't heard much else about it.

It would be nice, but TCL is the North American seller. I can't see them allowing another supply in the market. It would be like Mc Donald's letting Burger King selling in there stores.
What if TCL sells it? They were the ones manufacturing it in the first place.
Apparently they've started to be manufactured in India now.
The point is TCL is capable. I do believe it will only be a color change too but TCL knows the process. By the way Chinese variant has bumped up specs also ;).
Based on photos, I agree with the OP: black just makes the phone look chunkier, not more attractive IMO. However, as I plan to put mine in a case when I buy it, it really doesn't matter much.
On a related note, it makes sense for AT&T to go this route. No one will be doubting that these devices are part of a new production run, post the screen pop-out issue.

I was wondering if the T-Mobile USA bands are supported on the Black Limited Edition model? If so, how would I go about getting one here in the USA? I would imagine someone out there might be able to make it happen, if so PM me please as long as the price is not insane.
Someone on another post mentioned 1grandtrunk.com which seems like exactly what we would need to make this happen. Seems legit, what do u think?
I have never used this service or know anyone who has, looks interesting though, thanks for the information.
