It's addressed in the FAQ on the Google Play Listing.

On what condition will the LED notification be cancelled?

LED notification will be cancelled when the corresponding application is entered or exited. You must stay on the application for at least 1 second. Opening and closing an application too fast may not cancel the LED notification. Pressing the “Clear All” button in the drop-down notification bar will cancel all LED notifications. In Android 4.2 and below, swiping left or right on a notification in the drop-down notification bar cannot cancel the LED notification. From Android 4.3 onwards, swiping off to cancel an app’s LED notification is supported.
You can also set the mode in the app. They do also offer a demo which answers this and other questions you may have, you should test it out on your device before buying. - https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...o.lightmanager

Thank you. I have the Light Manager but was considering purchasing the Pro and as the indicator does not stay on in the free version I wanted to know prior to buying the Pro.
