Yep... they should open pre-orders right away. Throw in an exclusive bundle deal and sell even more!

It's sad that there is no news for any US folks, but at least some of the Canadian carriers are saying they are on board and will carry them in April.

Maybe. Except it says battery "typical" and "latest Android" as an OS. Looking at other devices for example the Priv, the box actually showed the Android number not just latest Android.

Yeah no joke. The lack of any updates since then is annoying, and I really don't understand the lack of preorder options. While I might not have taken advantage of it even if it was there, at least the option would exist.

It has yet to be delayed so if it doesn't launch in April it would be delayed further it would just be delayed.

No company should announce anything prematurely, the worst thing would be to state one date and have it delayed in the making.

But don't you think that we've come to a point where companies should be able to announce a release date, and then stick to it? That's just an honest question, because I don't know haha. I mean, other smartphone manufacturers are able to do it, but when it comes to BlackBerry, and now BlackBerry Mobile, it seems like it's impossible. I do agree with your sentiment though - if the choice is not picking a date vs. picking a date and then postponing, the former is definitely better.

Some carriers in Canada and Europe announced that they will carry the KEYone. The release date must be embargoed, meaning that none of them can publish the date. If one carrier has exclusive rights to release it first, that would also be embargoed (in my opinion) until it is closer to the time it happens.
