German editor Volker Weber just got official feedback that KEYone will be getting monthly updates at least until 2years after launch(!). So it will be around May 2019 which is in the worst case 24month and not very long:

And that's less than Thurber told about the legacy devices PRIV and DTEKs, they should be supported up to 2 years after EOL(!), well what at least seems to be also around May 2019 if a taking out of the shops is to be officially EOL.
Priv then would have had updates for nearly 4 years.

But I've not seen an more official source for both of those periods above. CB anyone?

Blah blah.........if you like it use it. But to already start to talk about length of time for updates is just plain dumb.

What if this or that.......instead of this I gave a bridge to sell, slightly used

Two years is more than enough for me. I've never used a phone that long.

Yeah and I think that is not too much already, compared to the other fruit OS (iPhone 5 2012-now). Which of course is comparing apple and oranges as they have only their "few" phones/chips to support.

Well not every one/company has the money to get a 600-700EUR phone every 2 years.

That would mean no more sec-updates for PRIV on christmas this year. I hope not.

Since they skipped May, a good next start would be June for all of us that don't have it.
