The Checkin command makes Android check into Google's servers and refresh various information from there. That might work for phones that get their updates from Google (i.e. phones, that have the menu: Settings --> About phone --> System update). But the KEYone has a separate "Updates" app that contacts TCL's servers directly. So updating your Google data doesn't do anything in this case.

I am also using a Rogers locked BBB100-1, my PRD is 63116-005. We didn't get the update yesterday, looks like it became available today. I can confirm I am at AAO472. Some quick thoughts on changes that I immediately noticed:

when I do a clear all, background apps do not get closed (Weather Live and Google Music don't close now!)
bluetooth is much better, it actually connects, allowing me to make phone calls using the headsfree in my vehicle. This has been a problem since I got the phone in May.
now if only they can fix the bug in the hub services where my instagram notifications appear 50 times on notification!

Btw, what is the product code on your Telus branded KEYᵒⁿᵉ? I can check to see if it's also up on the server for release tomorrow.

It should be PRD-63116-0xx. The number is on the box.

Similarly, if anyone has a Rogers branded device, I would like to know the last two digits also.
