Getting the KeyOne into and out of that case was like going to the gym for a week! (g)

I still don't know how come the screen did not pop off after those struggles. No, it waited till one evening while lying quietly on my desk!

Yes I still use my Tumi case. They were never sold commercially.

Hahahaha! I know what you mean. Once it was in there, the KEYone did NOT want to come out. Like you said, it's a miracle the screen didn't pop off from the struggle of getting the case off.

Yet last week. Just picking it up... pop! There she goes. Glue finally lost its adhesive!

The Tumi case is actually very easy to put on using the right technique.

Step 1 - place the keyone just about halfway up the case

Step 2 - push just the very top of the phone into the case

Step 3 - start sliding the phone up into the case and it pop right in.

To get it out start by unclipping the bottom left corner of the case which will then let you unclip the right side bottom corner and then slide the phone downwards out of the case.

I use the Tumi. The problem getting the phone out is true ... I only had to get it out when the screen fell off ....

The Tumi flap edges were made badly. They had used a rubber cording that eventually fell off. (Crazy Glue as a temporary fix failed.) Eventually I completely removed it. Otherwise the case is a workhorse.

Here's the youtube video showing the guy trying to get the KeyOne into the Tumi. Yamahammer has the correct method to load.

I did forget one thing that the video points out - the Tumi does not have the sleep magnet which puts the phone to sleep. (my Stilgut case does contain the magnet for the sensor)

The case was only included with the reviewer units and select lucky Crackberry KEYᵒⁿᵉ winners.

I got mine with the KEYone that I won at the Toronto launch event. It was too bulky for my liking so it found a new home with another CB member.
