Usually I'm frustrated, and have been most of my life, waiting for some device I own to do it's last command.

This KEYone has to be the first device I've owned that waits for me most of the time. Press a button and don't blink cause it just happened.

    NICE.

Now if only everything I owned was similarly quick to this KEYone. <sigh>

I'd hate to see what you owned in the past if this is the first device that has done this.

I mean I like the KEYone but its definitely not the fastest phone I've owned in terms of opening apps.

Did you change the animation scaling in the developer settings to "0.5x" already? If not, don't do it ... or you'll get spoiled even more.

agreed with the other poster KEYone is fast but its not flagship level fast. if you were coming from a 6 year old phone sure. use anyphone with a snapdragon 835 or even an 820 you will see a difference in app launching.

Yeah but the KEYone wasn't designed to be a flagship otherwise it would be a slab with top specs and costing $750 plus.

The phone is fast. Just as fast as an S8 in real world testing, it's even faster at opening some apps. Same network, controlled environment, and results were clear.

    The KEYone is fast.

Then take a look at some device with an 835 processor. You will get all your tasks done right before you reach the unlock button XD

They change different animations (windows, transitions, animations). I changed all of them to 0.5x.

Hmm... the KEYᵒⁿᵉ is not "that fast" out of the box. The only acceptable speed is with developer options .05x speed, only then it's as fast as your app commands. Even w/ DTEK60 that has 4gbs of RAM, I have to have developer options on, just to match the quickness of friend's devices.

I personally have disabled and cleaned 95% of google default apps, and save a lot of RAM and it now runs smoothly. I like it.

BB Classic, outstanding phone BUT painfully slow.

If your Keyone is slow its the apps you've choked it with, not the phone itself that's for sure.
