could it also be pressure/force from the cases? I know some haven't used a case at all and still had a screen fall
I did notice the aluminium case quite "soft" at the keyone compare with Iphone6s.

Personally think that when we hold with one hand and pressure too much on the both of the side can cause the aluminium side wall move inward a bit and this cause a pressure and push the screen to pop up. (As I noticed most of the pop up started from right hand side)

Just my personal opinion. What you guys think about? Give it a try and put some pressure between the volume button and convenient key button area, you will feel it.

So this finally happened to me, didn't drop the phone but the screen has come loose. I can't hold it upside down without it falling out. I bought from Amazon US on May 31st. My question now is who do I deal with to get a replacement? Amazon, BBMobile?

Just noticed the bottom left corner lifting. it seems that there are some small tabs keeping the screen in place, and that the press fit is no longer present. Bought mine on Amazon on 5/31 in the US. Will probably return it before the damage gets bigger. Sad and disappointed.

They offered you $750 and you didn't accept it? What was your reasoning behind that?
My reasoning was that I'd end up w a KEYone from some third party vendor, who still has the initial production run(s) stock b/c they hiked the price up. So I'd be no better off b/c I'd likely have a device from the same buggy production run, but from a third party vendor rather than a "reputable & reliable" one like Amazon

    Update from me:

Today I received the replacement 'new' keyone.
    - arrived from SBE Ltd UK via DPD.
    - on the label it still says 24/05 - I guess it was new but repaired from the old stock - after the pkb episode on the old one, I've analyzed it very in detail - seems to be new.
    - I'm still copying everything from the old 'repaired' one - further updates to follow.
    - I haven't received yet the feeport ticket to send the old one back.

This is the way it arrived. Plain white box, bubble wrap and the original foils including one on the front proximity sensor.

Wow, combing through this thread and seeing all of these screens that have recently fell out is disturbing. I sent mine back as I was still in the Amazon 30 day window and am not ordering one again for a while.

I'm convinced they will all fall out at some point and Amazon makes returns so easy it made no sense for me to hang on to the phone when I'm sure that I'll eventually have a screen issue. I feel back for those it happened to, especially those whose ribbons tore and the phone doesn't work.

They will all fall out, its only a matter of time.

Hi. Glad you received it at last, let's hope it's a totally new one and better still, an upgraded, glued in screen model.🙂

I keep saying it: I won't be happy with my repaired keyone until they tell me what they have upgraded in the new manufacturing process.

For all I know my device has had a work around and not the proper fix

I went to my amazon order history and clicked Return/Replace items, and then TCL Communications reached out to me because they were the vendor.
Hello SK122387 - was this within the 30-day return period?

Sadly... I cam here to add my device to the list. Ordered 5/31 and picked up on 6/2 from Best Buy. Phone never dropped. In Amzer thin case and now the display is hinged from the right side. BBM has to issue a recall

    I sure hope the same.
I didn't performed any suction/bend test to it. Will just go with the flow.

The fact that on the back foil it said Date: 240517 - gives me the confidence that has been verified/revised/strengtened before dispatching.

Here's an inception I did - old KeyOne looking at the new, as seen through a sad Samsung Galaxy S6

I generally had the same experience. Regarding the return label, mine was in the box that contained the replacement phone along with an adhesive label pouch. Used the same box to send the original one back. Think you have 5 days to return it before they charge you for the new one.

Call the phone number listed on the TCL/Blackberry Mobile Warranty that came in the box. I spent over 75 mins Saturday night w Amazon, went through 3 "tiers" of CS support management, only to be told the best they could do was refund me my $ - there's more to the story, just read my posts.

I called Blackberry Mobile tonight, and spent just under 6 mins waiting..."the next available customer service specialist will be with you shortly".....once I got a person on the phone, it was pretty straight forward - email 5 photos of the phone so they can see it's not been brutalized, one close up of the damaged area, and they will send you a new one WITH the assurance of a CC# which will be charged full price for another phone IF they find something out of warranty - i.e. evidence of water / physical damage. New device will arrive in 3-4 business days, and you have 5 days to return the old one.

Must say I'm more than slightly impressed thus far as I've just started the process. Will keep you all posted

They said that I will get a freepost ticket to send the old one back - didn't received a deadline and they cannot charge me as they don't have my card details, lol

It looks like the system is getting better. Let us know is you get a brand new phone and not a refurbished unit.

Maybe a proper way to check if a K1 is ok or not with the screen's glue is not only to make the suction cup test, but to make it _after_ having put the phone in a ventilated, temperature controlled owen, at around 50/55 C for 2-3 hours.

Then, if the screen will detach, lets reattach it with adhesive tape, so no tore cable risk.

    I'll make this test tonight.

Be careful as they are replacing all screens so there may be changes to the design.
