So...I had my screen pop off....and got the replacement coming. when the new Keyone arrives....without a working screen on my current phone....how does one do a new device switch....

Sign into the new device with your google account and all you stuff should be there. As for media (pics and videos) if you weren't backing up to the cloud and not SD card, not sure you can recover those. Contacts is dame thing, if they were tied to an email account they will be there, if they were saved locally on the device, might not be able to get them back.

Edit: one other thing. Was the screen completely detached or was it still working? If so, plug the device into lap top and drag and drop all all your and you can then move them to new device. Assuming you haven't sent the old one back already.

I just had this happen to me 2 days ago. I am emailing to get a replacement phone but they've asked for my IMEI number.

Since my screen popped off its no longer functioning. How do I find the number without the screen working?
