Came across this browser that heavily uses the keyboard.

    List of shortcuts:
    - A/Q: Display menu
    - W/Z: New tab
    - P: Previous
    - N: Next
    - L: Reload
    - I: Zoom in
    - O: Zoom out
    - S: Find on Page
    - T: Go to top
    - B: Go to bottom
    - Space: Scroll down
    - Shift+Space: Scroll up
    - K: Bookmarks
    - U: Select URL
    - Del. : Delete Tab (menu open)
Just installed it and it worked pretty well. It looks like someone just copied the BlackBerry 10 browser over.
I'm a little sceptical before I start using it full time. All these browsers can be dodgy with how they process your personal info.

Aside that, the keyboard shortcuts work well in general. There are some issues, for eg W to open tab doesn't always work (actually when you're in the bookmark page and could be same behaviour like BlackBerry 10 built-in browser) and S works for search but then your searched term is always highlighted even if you navigate to other pages.

EDIT: Thread on this browser by the developer http://forums.crackberry.com/android...owser-1106590/

Press the power button twice to start the camera erom anywhere in the OS.
Same as the Priv, the Priv Spacebar is also a shutter button like the KEYone.

Speed up your phone by removing or reducing the animations......
    1. Settings, about, tap on build number several times.
    2. Turn on Developer mode.
    3. Set animation speed faster or off.
    4. Reboot device by holding down the power button for 15 seconds.

    Also helpful for speed...
1 - Go to settings, storage, internal, and hit cached data.
You need to set them at .5 - off and. 5 for it to be smooth but super fast.

Anyone experimented with GPU rendering? Seems like one of the few devices where that developer setting might enhance things. I'll give it a whirl.

That video shows Swipe Typing on the keyboard at 1:48. My K1 does not have this option! Could this be a review unit with different firmware?

I noticed that as well. Very cool if it is in the latest version. Wonder how it would interfere with deleting or selecting of text.

No that's just a new update. It's now enabled.
It's doesn't interfere that much but swiping isn't that great on the physical keyboard IMO.

Really glad swipe has been released now but it isn't as good as I hoped it would be on the physical keyboard.

App updates are in PlayStore (swipe right from the left menu and check for "My Apps.." ). You'll see the updates there.
Besides, the settings in PlayStore by default are on auto update on WiFi, so you may have all updated. Just check the settings within PlayStore (again from left menu)

The system updates should appear automatically as far as you haven't switched it off. In the App drawer, look for an app called "Updates". This is where you'll find the System update. You can also check the settings from the app, whether it's on auto-check etc.

    Hope it helps.

In whatspp tapping two times on the keypad brings up virtual buttons to navigate on the screen
Swipe function on keypad is pretty neat
Customisable symbols are also a cool feature
Customisable currency key to period key is a sad miss
Some features like LD , LT , mypin etc still work

Pressing CTRL + Enter is doing the following

    1. Either it simply doesn't respond.
    2. If it respond to the action it will save the mail as a draft and send a blank email.
    3. Opening the draft and sending it again using the shortcut works.
@LiamQ your attention when you have a chance please.
