I really like my Keyone so I decided to go on and get a second one on Amazon.

However, I looked on the site and couldn't find the usual $549 deal! The cheapest one is $649, sold by BlackBerry (100-2)
    https://www.amazon.com/BlackBerry-KE...UvbUpU12951868

The 100-1 version is even more expensive at $699, also sold by BlackBerry
    https://www.amazon.com/BlackBerry-Un...UvbUpU12951868

What the hell is going on? There's more demand than supply so they're increasing the price? If so that has to go down as the craziest and most crooked move.

These listings are just independent sellers using Amazon marketplace to sell KEYones they've purchased for resale markup.

Chuck Finley, could it be so? These listings said sold by BlackBerry. They are also the only listings for this phone that I could find. Normally if it's sold out and will come back later at the same price, you'll see Amazon keeping the old listing, same price, and "Temporarily Out Of Stock" as the status.

Take a look at your first screen cap. It says "sold by mercate group and full filled by Amazon".

The phone is $549 when sold by TCL. When you see a price increase it means that someone selling it knows that Amazon doesn't have them in stock so they are charging a premium for the device. They are a seller that sells through Amazon. Happens all the time and has nothing to do with TCL's price or Amazons. Think of it as buying it off of eBay at a premium. It's the same thing except most of the time with these sellers on Amazon you are still covered with the 30 day return window.

Gotcha, yep missed the seller name as mentioned by Ecm. It is surprising they pulled the listing altogether from amazon. Anyway, thanks guys!

He is correct the price was increased. You can go to the Blackberry Keyone page and click buy now and it will take you to the amazon/bestbuy links. Click amazon and it drops you off at the 690.00 listing. Totally crap move by Blackberry and TCL.

And, the "ships and sold by TCL" listing is back, and showing stock available, as of a few minutes ago. This is the listing from the "Buy Now" link on the BB Mobile US site.

Perhaps the TCL listing is taken down when there is no stock? Sounds odd to me.

No, he's not correct. If you want to blame anyone, blame the re-sellers.

I allready see some online shops in europe taking the KEYone offline. For example in the Netherlands bol.com. The reason is no stock and no idea when stock will come and they thinking in a few weeks.

    Amazing
