PRD-63117-036 is the German QWERTZ keyboard version (no sim-lock). I found out the hard way by ordering one

Also note: there's no way to change the keyboard mapping for letters in Android software settings. Unlike BBOS10, where you could map the keyboard to whatever you want.

Even if you set the Android keyboard mapping to "Alphabet QWERTY", the physical keyboard will NOT be mapped to QWERTY. I would consider that a bug, but oh well... it's Android. Can't be too picky.

Just be super-careful there. One wrong keystroke and you can bork your device and/or trigger integrity detection.

I'm reluctant to say, but type *#2886# into the dialer.

Then select Manual, then Traceability.

Is there a way to check the PDR in the phone??

In a pickle with getting my Bell (PDR-63116-003, BBB100-1) unlocked. The carrier says the IMEM doesn't show in their system, and believes I was issued a non-Bell device; hence why they cannot unlock the device. The IMEM on the sticker & phone match.

Just curious if this can be found else where.

PRD-63117-xxx is the BBB100-2. It's the international (not the Americas) version.
