I noticed that the launch models had "Latest Android" written on the packaging box while recent boxes says "Android 7.1 Nougat".

I wonder if the latter is the second batch of production which may have fixed the small margin of display problems (eg. Screen lifts, LED lines, etc) as well as reception issues?

What does it says on your keyone packaging box? Any reported screen lifts or other issues on the "Android 7.1 Nougat" devices?

Went to several stores here in my country and found out that all (about 7 stores) have the launch model with "Latest Android" written..

Because latest android is Android O which is in the developer preview and will be released later this year.

Therefore since Nougat is not the latest Android, it cannot be marketed as "latest android"
