was wondering this too... but maybe their thought was you can't type sideways you know?
I know what you mean, but I've noticed that when you type on the physical keyboard the virtual keyboard stays on the screen as well. Seems like a waste of space if I'm honest.

That was a neat thread to look through!
I'm loving flick to type and swipe left to delete words. These two things alone, have improved my typing speed significantly compared to when I type on my BlackBerry Classic!
6200 keyboard gestured used, and counting!

Someone mentioned that autocorrect had to be enabled, before it would offer your personal dictionary as suggested words. Is this true?

Edit: thanks to this thread, I realized I'm averaging nearly 900 words a day

So not many people use the touch screen to type then, anyone know how to disable the touchscreen keyboard when the phone is rotated?
I've looked through the settings and can't find an option to disable it...

That can definitely be disabled: Settings - Language - Physical Keyboard - Unhook the option where it says "Show the virtual keyboard". Alternatively you can just Unhook the same option in a pop-up when you press "Current keyboard".

PS: My phone language is not in English so the options may be translated a bit differently...

Three months with the KEYone! I'm averaging 1157 words per day
The only thing I have to say about the keyboard, is I wish the autocorrect had a setting between low, and off. I find its changing too many words, and doing so incorrectly.

    update lol..

it sucks that stats don't transfer when you transfer everything over to a new phone...

I've asked that myself already because I'm getting my KEYᵒⁿᵉ next week.

So I really can't save everything I've achieved with the Priv? I don't necessarily mean the statics, but the learned words and things like that. Too bad...
