    hi all..

    need some help here. it was an unlocked Rogers phone, used in Rogers, Freedom without any issues, started to use on AT&T since Nov 2019, and having tons of issues.

    to begin with I already factory reset the phone.

    - before and after having same issues.

    - Bluetooth flaky; un-predictable issues. keeps connecting disconnecting usually.keyone issues-screenshot_20200312-110844.jpgkeyone issues-screenshot_20200310-200746.jpg
    - Apps stop responding.
    - SYSTEM UI not responding messages
    - Samsung Health not responding close the app.
    - Mcafee antivirus not responding close the app
    - more than 2 apps opened, phone becomes extremely slow.
    - battery keeps showing charging even though unplugged


    I know that there are no more updates, last update I had was in June 2019?

    any potential fix here? or time to upgrade?

    Just looking at the notification bar at the top of the screen, there are a lot of apps running with background services. Have you looked to see how much RAM your device has remaining as a result?

    I wouldn't be surprised if it's simply out of memory.

    Also, many argue that "antivirus" apps on devices without Root access are pointless and just use up resources and battery, so if you have a memory issue, then that is something you could consider uninstalling first.

    If you have no choice but to run all of those applications simultaneously, and assuming it's a memory issue, then an upgrade to the Key2 which has double the RAM may solve your issues.

    Check in the power center app. Also, while you're in there, prevent apps from starting in the background. Only let messaging apps or other apps that need to run (to show notifications etc.) run in the background.

    Another method is to enable Developer Options. You will find detailed memory reports in there.

    To enable developer options - go to Settings -> System -> About Phone -> and tap 7 times on the "Build Number" at the bottom of the screen.

    Developer options will then appear under Settings -> System

    Under Developer Options, the two screens you want to check out are "Memory" at the top, and "Running Services" 6 down from the top.

    Running services will tell you exactly which apps are running in the background and how much memory they are currently using.
