Hello, I've had a KeyOne for over a year. Over the last few days I've noticed that it seems to be ignoring my PIN, both to open the phone from the lockscreen, and when trying to change settings. Fortunately I am able to open the phone using a fingerprint. The odd thing is that its not saying that my PIN is incorrect; I'm not getting any error message and all that happens is that I'm returned to the original screen. I still have 10 login attempts left (this doesn't change, no matter how many times I use the fingerprint).
I'd wondered whether to restart the phone, but am worried that if I do I'll be asked for the PIN and the phone will then be unusable.
The phone is running Android 8.1.0.
    Grateful for any advice.

I think there is a bug in password area. you need to reload your phone. i can even unlock my phone using my palm, under thumb area. keep scanning your palm untill it unlock the phone.

Depending on the behavior you're experiencing, the behavior in response to entering a password may be a violation of the device's security policy and the bug may need to be reported to BlackBerry as a CVE.
