Since Google Pixel has the same cam and their software(some claims are better)
Would getting the Google Camera app on the KEYone not be a logical choice?

    Anyone knows?
Anyone have link to google camera app?

I curious to know this as well. I know sony makes great camera sensor but sony can't really compete with Samsung's camera software. I wonder why?

Doesn't really work that way. the software algorithms on the pixel are partly due to the processor(i.e.. hardware) and partly software, and partly the sensor. So the KeyOne will have the ability to take good photos, but won't have the processor backing, and depends how good they can optimize their own software algorithms. I am optimistic it will be pretty good though.

Looks like the Google camera app has been blocked for install on the K1. I had it on here a week ago but now nothing shows up in search.
