Thanks. The autoloader worked great so far. The only issue is Android Pay no longer wants to work due to it suspecting I'm running a rooted device, unlocked bootloader, or a custom ROM.
You are doing none of those things. Reboot the device and try running the app again.

We don't have Android pay in Canada yet.

    Good call.

Not a HUGE deal breaker for me but might make me think twice about using autoloaders in the future. For now, I'm curious what kind of improvements I'll see in this AAL build on the KEYone.

The OS version may have caused the problem, but the use of an autoloader did not.

    Makes sense.

But, now I wonder if my Android Pay will suddenly start working or not once this build goes through further certification and is rolled out publicly.

I guess I'll find out in the coming weeks when the US model is released.

Thanks for letting us know. I'm a huge Android Pay user. I am going to wait out. Who knows, it might even stop me from using Android for Work.

I am pretty surprised BB has allowed its new phone to go almost a month without the May security update and newest build. I realize that their are very few out in the wild, but this surprises me nonetheless. Hopefully they update this week.

Also the famous german tech-site states this as ONE of THREE negative points for this device.

Download the AAL093 zip file from here:
Although still on April patch level, AAL093 is available for autoload.

Does your device pass Safety Net checks?

Search Google Play for 'SafetyNet Helper' run the app and see what the result is.

For those unfamiliar, SafetyNet is Google API used in apps to verify the integrity of the device. This is not a BlackBerry security feature, as mentioned, it's part of the core OS provided by Google.

I can't wait to install the AAL manually. But, user-experiences about the improvements are very rare so far.

I tried it and it failed.

Are you able to install and open "Pokemon Go"? Or setup mobile payments through your banks app? (if available)

Loaded and set up Pokémon Go for the first time. All seems to be working.

I don't have automatic pay setup in my banking apps but I can make payments with them just fine.

So just as a follow-up to the Android Pay issue I was experiencing, here is the error I was receiving on AAL093 + April security patch.
    Keyone BB100-2: May-Update + AAL-screenshot_20170529-131007-221-.jpg

I then downgraded back to AAK879 using an autoloader and all works again. My theory is that the May security patch might be required for Android Pay to work on AAL093. Just a guess though.

Well would be nice if they released in, considering May is almost over.

Right. Keep in mind, I am on a UK / Euro BBB100-2 and using it on T-Mobile in the US.

I noticed a few of the US review models (BBB100-1) were already on AAL093 and I'm assuming on the May security patch. I'll be picking one of these up in a few days on release and will mess around with that one a bit too.

    AAL093 is still April patch.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think it's the June security patch, Rogers says they'll push it on June 5.
