The one thing problematic about android in general is it's audio latency. Makes using voip apps pretty problematic. There is an app to test latency (http://superpowered.com/android-marshmallow-latency), i can recall priv hat values of about 60-80ms if I remember correctly. Pixel for comparison brings it down to 18ms which is near to being ok (<=10ms on ios). could anybody do a test with a keyone to confirm what values are here?

    KEYone BBB100-1 on AAL093 - 42ms

44ms here. IOS has always had better latency as its audio engine was optimized for it. One of the reasons a lot more music production apps are available for that platform.

Not sure what you mean. I use T-Mobile's wifi calling all the time on my LG V10, and no problems. And in fact last night I used their DIGITS app to do it, and again no problem.

The only latency I have is when hooking to an older bluetooth audio system in my car, and play a video. Wicked latency.

I also have a Samsung tablet, a high end one, that we use as the kitchen TV/movie player. It plays audio via BT to a remote speaker, and there's zero latency.

Thank you for your test - would you be able to do the same tests on dtek50 and dtek 60?

    What is latency?
The delay before a transfer of data begins following an instruction for its transfer: poor performance due to network latency | there are several ways to minimize rotational latencies | [as modifier] : subscribers can expect some latency time when issuing a request.
