I received one of my Keyone(s) back from BlackBerry Mobile as they repaired the screen lift.
(Actually they just sent me a different phone that was likely repaired)
When I received it, the language was in German.
As I'm in the US I promptly changed the language accordingly to English (US).
The keyboards on my two devices look absolutely identical.
Other than on this site as I quite literally JUST observed, the 'Z' Key types 'Y' and the 'Y' Key types 'Z'
Please advise how to correct this.
Otherwise typing will need to be re-learn(ed) on one of my devices.
I just realized I had to sign into CrackBerry on my daily driver KeyOne and it types properly.
so the affected device keys likely type(s) 'Z' and 'Y' incorrectly every time they are used

Check the various settings and options. Main Settings, Language&Input:
Language
Current Keyboard
Keyboard Settings
Input Languages and the other settings.

Wow that sucks. Did you contact customer care to get a replacement device? Something like that should be covered. I'm kinda scared cause I've got me replacement device waiting in the mail room to be picked up tomorrow. Hope I don't get a lemon.
When I read OP's post I remembered the QWERTZ KEYone that was released. Attached is a screenshot of Bla1ze's article about the release.
To me, it sounds as though you got one that is programmed for the QWERTZ KEYone. This ought to be a reason to get a replacement if it can't easily be resolved with the suggestions given.
I would contact them through the channel you used for contacting them the first time.
Let us know how it goes.
