Ever learn to use a calculator by touch? It's on the "5" to center your hand on the numeric keyboard/ telephone pads. F & J keys on typing keyboards. Yes, they are called the "HOME" keys.

That's awkward! Not even my priv 😬
My Priv has it. pretty much anything with a physical keyboard has it. security access gate pads, landline telephones, tv remotes, etc. An advantage not a defect :-)

So its really for the 5 key not the D. Which is why Passport doesn't have it.

BTW, dimples are recessed. You all are talking about a nipple.
Well said, totally accurate, pimples not dimples :-)

People are right, though, Passport doesn't have it.
That is because the numbers 1-9 are not arranged as a square set of keys, they are "virtual" on the Passport, so it wouldn't work.

    My iPhone doesn't have it
Don't worry it will be on the iPhone9, which will finally get a pkb, expandable memory card, standard usb connector, bright and dark LED screen, gestures, etc ;-)

Checked every keyboard in the house, none of them have dimples on any of the keys
Just checked my PC keyboard. It has little bars at the bottom of the F and J keys.

With a little practice, on your BlackBerry KEYone, you can learn to type without looking down at your phone, using the dimple or pimple (whatever) as a guide to be accurate.
Ever seen the videos of people walking into things and falling into things because they were looking down at their slab phones while walking along? With the KEYone and a little practice, you will be spared from such embarrassment. "Do more. Eyes on the goal"
