And, it seems why the screen dies after falling off is because the ribbon cable tears when it happens.

Complete nonsense. Is this TCL's first phone? Bent out of shape so easily. Even the Priv survived his torture besides the plastic lens and he even gave it credit surviving the bend test anyway. Poor showing. I will hold off on my KeyOne purchase until this is addressed.
This is a huge problem for keeping any sort of liquid, condensation or dust out of the inside of the phone, not just the screen falling off... This is the stupidest thing I've seen in a while.

I feel sorry for every purchaser on here at this point... If it wasnt for CB I would have bought one based on the YouTube reviews.
I'm actually seriously debating cancelling my order. I love the look and feel of the phone. But, while I doubt I'll bend the thing, I don't want to have to treat it like glass either.
How on earth did the design pass a quality control test? if indeed every phone has been built the same.
That screen bit is disappointing to say the least. I have been waiting for the K1 for months but things like this are giving me second thoughts. Slowly starting to understand all the delays with this phone.
Using a Classic at the moment and I've never worried about it even when I literally played catch with it.

I suggest to those who are still within the 15 day return policy and have issues beyond software...don't hold out. I decided to cash out and wait a little - no point in replacing it with another one at this moment.
