    So as i was wathing the relese of the iphone 8 ill se that there is no home button.... guess how you go back to the home screen folks?!?! .... yuo swipe up like on the BlackBerry os10... damn copy cats. This makes me mad cause now everybody is going to talk about iphone like they invented it. Cause its really better to swipe than to press a button. Anyone else a bit irritated??

    well the only thing to do now is show up to the apple stores with our old z10's and z30's and the rest of our bb10 devices and show them who the real "innovators" of this "remarkble" invention was.

    I was thinking the same as OP. Actually, I can't wait for the Apple engineers to invent a phone with built-in physical keyboard. Then we'd have a phone with PKB, gestures control and apps. Awesome!

    One can dream. Apple basically murdered the physical keyboard. That, or the other manufacturers who followed it's design did

    A decent third party PKB attachment though is more within the realm of reality

    Why are you blaming Apple? Blame BB for not having properly implemented it.

    BB was first... but no one will know about it if no one buys your phone or finds it too complicated

    BTW... How complicated was swipe up on BB10 at introduction?

    You had to swipe up once... the another time, then swipe up and right for the hub???

    Nope, on bb10 you can also wake upp the phone by swiping up. And you dont have to swipe up three times like you describe.
    1. Wake up the phone with one swipe.

    Thats all it takes. If you want to go to the hub swipe right.

    Also facerecognition for wake up, its already invented and put in the windos lumia phone wich i carry also.. its just dangerous unlock method when you are driving so not so good idea.

    Now, if only Apple would steal the rest of BB10's interface features, I'd be happy to switch to it!

    Besides, it's entirely possible that they licensed it from BlackBerry and that BlackBerry is being paid. There's no reason for either company to announce it if that's the case.
