Exclusive: Upgraded Blackberry KEYone to Launch in India for Rs. 39,999 » PhoneRadar

Sorry to link to another site, but if true, this should find a way to Canada! Don't care for dual sim, but four gigs of ram should be appreciated.

Come to think of it, I would like the dual sim. I could keep my unlimited data plan on personal side of phone and have my corporate sin for worm which they pay. If they would ever allow that.

If 549 cad is 35500 r, then 39,999 is more expensive, not less.

Rs. 39,999 is ~569 €. European price is 599 €. (based on Polish National Bank conversion ratios)

Yes, but thank you to all the early adopters. Without you, nothing would ever get to market!

Fair enough. But that pride included the high VAT does it not?

Dual sim can be a possibility but 4 gb ram for less price will never happen.. Esp in India. Higher spec phones are usually made for Korea but not for India.

I think if you continue waiting for the next better thing, you'll never end up having a KEYone hehe.

Hehe. Only one more month. It will available in June. And ebay price was around $950. So I think waiting is good option here.

Take it with a grain of salt. This article has some issues. It says that the KeyOne was made available "a few weeks back" in the US and Canada and that TCL "designed" the KeyOne after launching the "rebranded" DTEKs. They also claim that this improved K1 will be made in India and sold by OI due to the license they hold for India.

An unsubstantiated rumor. Not one word from BlackBerry, TCL or Optiemus. And this is all going to happen in the next few weeks? Not likely.

I just finished listening to androidcentral podcast with CB Kevin, Mr. Mobile, and the other 2 guys whom I forgot the name. Somewhere in the podcast CB Kevin mentioned that there will be a slight change to K1 which is about to happen which will not affect its battery life as SD 625 processor is known to be super energy efficient. If you were to read between the lines I think it is the RAM (additional 1GB RAM) and who knows a dual SIM support. I guess the info of PhoneRadar is actually quite through. *wink* *wink*

Two years European warranty makes the European price more competitive at the end. A lot of things can happen on that time

Probably fake news but if true, this would be hilarious. It's like BlackBerry and TCL are just trolling us all with this K1 fiasco.

Come on now, don't be a party pooper!

So, what would be the motivation on fake news like this if it is.

If enough people believe it, they may stop buying the KEYone in hopes of getting the 4gb version.

This would mean less sales, and a potential end to TCL's vision of relaunch of the brand. I hope this is not the case, someone needs to fig for the source.

I will say that just because it is a few weeks does not mean it can't be happening. Maybe the licensing have been in place since tcl started making the current version.

    Who knows?
