Anything in August and after should be good. I doubt there is anything left in the retail market space with an older date. Now buying used... that's another matter.

Somewhere around Mid-July and after.

You can find the assembly date for the unit in the MMI test / Traceability menu

1 - Dial *#2886#
2 - Hit "MANU"
3 - Then "Traceability" on top
4 - Hit "Pass"
5 - On the bottom should be your build date
6 - Hit "Pass" again
7 - Scroll to bottom and hit "exit"


You should get a date code like in:

20170529
yyyymmdd

Honestly, it's all up in the air. I had to return my first one after the keyboard wouldn't work (physical keyboard) and I thought my replacement one was fine since they didn't fix it just sent me a new one. I just sent back my new one a week ago as the screen popped out and there was clearly no glue on the sides.
