Any issues of force or alignment in seating the KeyOne into the dock?
the original designer of that is here on these forums. Hopefully he sees this.
That is amazing. Definitely the future.
How long did the printer take to print that?

Awesome. The maker of it has uploaded it to Thingsverse for my 3D Printer. I'll be printing one immediately. Thinking about the color to make. I guess Black makes the most sense but I have a variety to choose from.
Are you using this as just a place to seat the phone or did you actually run a cable through it to charge?
I was really pumped about this, unfortunately it won't fit on my Makerbot Mini and would have to be scaled down, which in effect would make it useless. Great job nonetheless OP, looks fantastic.
It took 7 hours!
My cable didn't fit but I ordered a slim one that should fit. Eta is Tuesday.
Geez, and I thought my printer was small!
No issues at all. It just drops in.
Oh, but I see that you still don't have a cable connection. I thought that the usb was at it's bottom and received the phone. Let us know how it goes.
I've yet to see a 3d printer in action - must be fun, although seven hours must be like watching a pot boil!
The cable *should** fit snug in the bottom. Well see!
Geez, oh the horror.
Cool, keep ups posted on how that goes, maybe you'd be willing to sell a few of these? I'd pony up $25 for one if the cable fits snug.
I'm not sure. I'd have to contact the guy who designed it. I don't mind just making a few and shipping them out for the cost of materials. I don't want to make money of them.
I added a link to the original thread in the OP.
Hey any update here on the possibility of selling these?
OP, it is great to see the nice design and 3D print. Just word of caution: if your product (stand) is smelly, you have organic volatile come out of the stand, that may cause problem if those stuff migrated into the handset, via speaker or USB connectors. If the organic build up a thin layer on low voltage electrical contact, you might have intermittent fault... Just be careful. (proper cure of the 3D print material is very important.... majority of the home printing machine does not provide the full cure - >95% cure). IMHO. Nice job.
