Hey guys, I have a silver keyone.. With a 32GB internal storage.. And 32gb sd card

I was trying to remove some files to save space, when I saw that the .thumbnails in DCIM folder in internal storage showed 43GB.. How is that possible when the available is 32 GB?

What is actually .thumbnails? Is it safe to remove? What would happen if I remove it?

Well, obviously it's reading wrong. But yes, you can delete it. it's basically just a cache of images to help your device load images faster. After you delete it, you might notice images take a bit longer to load or thumbnails won't show until they cache again. But yeah, no harm in trashing it. In fact, it's good device maintenance to do so. Some of the images probably aren't even on your device anymore. It's just like when you delete an app from your computer and it leaves crap files and folders behind. You don't need them but they take up space.
