How to update ATT Black Keyone that is now on T Mobile?

Hi, I have a BlackBerry Keyone that was originally an Att Black phone. I now use it on T Mobile. Yet, I cannot update it _ all updates are tied to Att. It was last updated in 2017.
Any work around to get newer android and security patches?

If I were to put in an Att sim into it would I be able to download updates?

You can try the Mobile Upgrade Tool.

The device will be wiped in the process. But the phone in fastboot mode, and run the tool from your PC.

You could always try an active AT&T SIM, but that may not work.

In the meantime, I just received a response from BB Mobile.
They indicated that it can be done with an ATT sim card in the phone.
So I will try that and go to an ATT store and ask them to assist.
