I disabled that piece of garbage that gives me double notifications (both in the app itself and the hub) and my phone feels snappier without it. Never liked it even in the old BB days. I like my notifications displayed separately not everything under one roof.
It a very good application and If you knew how to correctly set up your phone you would not have double notifications and see the benefits it provides. Great thing about Android is that everyone has a choice to use whatever applications that satisfies their needs.
Fox for Zooper, but you'll have to download Zooper Widget Pro to utilize it. There are lots of really cool designs. Bet you find some you like even better. Have fun with it. For icons, I dig Steelicons as shown here in my app drawer.

I use Hub and so far haven't experienced any problems or battery drain. I loved it on Z10 and PP and is along with the PKB the key reason for buying K1 now that the BB10 is left for dead.
Using Hub, calendar and contacts, on a Google Pixel and also a KEYone. There is no better email app period plus where you can get texts and social media all in one spot/app.
Loved it on BB10, love it on Android. Android is a different experience for sure. The Android is even better in some ways even (snooze, swipe to delete). As someone before me mentioned, you need to take the time to make the Hub work for you (which means removing double notifications/disabling other apps as needed).
While I may start a message in the Hub (2 email accounts, WA, SMS, Twitter), I respond to messages directly from the notification shade.
The Hub is nonetheless useful for seeing all my messages from multiple accounts at a glance.
I'm using it although if it ever gets to overwhelming to the point that the phone starts lagging too much then I'll disable it. I've heard people complaining about double notifications but I don't know what they're talking about? When I receive a message if I open it through the hub the drop down notification will disappear automatically and if I open it through the drop down shade then the hub notification will show as read automatically.
Only thing I don't like is that sms deleted in the hub remain in the messaging app and whatsapp doesn't show my sent messages in the hub.

You do know that even in the hub you can display them all seperately? And you could just disable some notifications to avoid doubles
I tried to kill the battery on my Keyone this past weekend. I lasted 18 hours, my phone still had 46% battery life with an SOT of over 5 hrs. I gave up. All this while using the Hub.
I had the hub on Priv and DTEK60. The KEYᵒⁿᵉ version was laggy. Had to remove it. I'm on my last Blackberry app w/ password keeper. Everything else has been disabled because other comparable apps work better.
I forgot to ask, what does everyone use instead of password keeper? Preferably free and no ads. Just thinking of removing Blackberry services and free up some resources.
