Just returned second device, screen popped out again :(
just one exchange so far due to the screen popping off. TCL said mine was in the amended batches and had the fixed adhesive, but I went to the info screen and saw that mine is from May.
How can you determine the build date?
4 keyones
3 due to screen pop up and now I'm on 4th.
but it also had recent screen button(square) issue + wobbling volume buttons with them.
the quality of this phone is unbelievably sucks.
There is a way to determine the build date, but it will most likely trigger the DTEK app. It is called the traceability date and requires a code. It has been on the KeyOne threads. Let me know if you need a link.

None, purchased mid June.
first time lucky here no screen lift I bought two and bothe are perfect date on back says 090517
Running this procedure MIGHT cause the Dtek app to report the OS has been compromised. The only fix for that error appears to be a complete reset. I think that I ran it without alerting Dtek. I believe it was another test (along the same lines) that alerted Dtek.
You can find the assembly date for the unit in the MMI test / Traceability menu
1 - Dial *#2886#
2 - Hit "MANU"
3 - Then "Traceability" on top
4 - Hit "Pass"
5 - On the bottom should be your build date
6 - Hit "Pass" again
7 - Scroll to bottom and hit "exit"
You should get a date code like in:
20170529
yyyymmdd
April 4th build. no issues yet
Yeah my fourth Keyone is from May too. I'm hoping they are fixing early new units and sending them out as replacements. Each warranty exchange was an older and older phone for me. Or, they aren't fixing them at all, or sending us refurbed phones. I still don't know...
I think my replacement was brand new, just maybe unaffected by the screen issue so far. It came in the sealed box with the charger and everything, not just a device in plastic wrap (though I'm sure they could have put a refurbished unit in new packaging).
I don't know (or appreciate..)why they would tell me it's from the new batch of fixed phones when it was from May...
They said the same to me. My first replacement was new in the box. Charger ear buds etc. That one was not fixed. My second replacement was from June 9, just in a plain white box. So I figured it was a new unit that they had taken out of the box and fixed. Nope. Had no glue either. My third unit, the spacebar and v and b keys were dead. The fingerprint scanner did not work or light up. This fourth unit seems good for now though.
I had one of the first release models and had no issues, gave it to my nephew and he also hasn't had any problems with the device.
I am in the market for another one, but want to make sure I get a later build (July) or newer. Seems the newer builds have resolved the screen lift issues.
zero replacements - first batch
I've just got my K1 back from repair (display lifting) but the new display has bleed on the left side. But I'm not sure I'll do anything about it as it took ULM.com ages to get my K1 fixed...
a total of ZERO and early adapter
My screen came loose slowly and after a facedown drop on my floor, popped completely off. Superglued that sucker down and it's been fine since. Just got my black version today and will gift this one to a friend.
1 replacement from first batch; keyboard died on me. no issue since with 2nd /current device
