    I cannot figure out how to only have my phone ringer on. Whenever my phone only ringer is on I receive sounds when I receive text message and what's app messages. Does anyone know how to turn off all sounds except for your ringer? I have a Key2

    In the stock Messages app may want to go to settings and ensure the radio button for vibrate is turned off. My notifications were/are turned all the way down but Messenger text app would still buzz/vibrate. Adjust that radio button in Messenger setting and it should stop. Not certain about WhatsApp. Maybe similar??

    my notifications for messages are off but not notifications in general... so messages blink the LED ...certain very important contacts have the message sound turned on... all sound notifications are off during the night ...none wake the locks teen from sleep... it takes some fiddling, but once set works fine
