I used a keyone silver before and memory used usually 2.4/3gb (63 apps installed and 61 apps using the memory) and i feel sometimes the phone lagged maybe due to this.

Now i changed to keyone black which offers 4gb RAM but now with lesser apps installed and lesser apps using the memory, from 2.4gb sometimes it goes up to 2.8gb used even after i close the apps or optimise it still the same.

Anyway u guys can help me with? Or am just hoping for a great update really soon

There is nothing wrong with your device. Android will try to use more available RAM if it's there.

People misunderstand how android uses ram and assume like a PC. You can give Android 10 GB of ram and it'll happily use as much as it wants. I think the target ram usage is something like 80% or something like that.

Okay well even of that's the case, his device is using 2.4 to 2.8 of 4 gigs.

Not sure if you're saying good or bad... 80% of 4gb would be 3.2gb. 80% of 3gb would be 2.4gb.

Well what I mean he is below the 80% number. I'm not sure if that's an actual target but either way, his device is fine.

For example, on my Keyone, 2.3 GB of ram is used all the time!

Did you notice any difference between the 4GB and the 3GB Keyone? Was it worth it?
