    hi,

I have my new KeyOne and trying to customize LED notifications for a CONTACT.

With my BB Q10, I had customized LED notifications for each of my contacts.

In my example, the contacts are :
    - David and his LED color notification is green.
    - jane and her LED color notification is yellow.

Each time I received from David :
    a mail
    a incoming call
whatsapp message or whatsapp incoming call
    a facebook message
    bbm message
    SMS

    the LED notification is green.

When it's Jane who contacts me, the LED notification is yellow

How to do the same with the KeyOne ?

(my question is different from the tutorial for : "How to customize LED notifications for e-mail on the BlackBerry KEYone")

    Thanks in advance,

    Samir

There's an app for - Light Flow, from google play, which can also customize by contact. You can choose if a call from David is Green Solid and a BBM from him is Green fast blinking or you choose for everything from him the same color and blinking speed.

I tried Lightflow, doesn't always work... For what OP wants, downloading a 3rd party text app like Textra or Yaata (have to pay to get that option though) would be the best option. I'm using Yaata and love it so far...

    That's for emails I believe...

There's no universal setting like in BB10 since Android is more fragmented. Every app handles their own notifications, so you'll have to both get an app for each that supports that level of customization, and then set it for each one. For example, you'll have to get a SMS app that allows you to customize individual contacts, then customize through that app for each contact. Then you'd have to get an email app that does the same, etc...

For emails, the hub lets you do this using custom alerts.

extra and Yaata lets you do this for SMS, but you might have to pay to get that level of customization.

The phone app unfortunately doesn't have that level of customization...

BBM also doesn't give that level of customization surprisingly

I have no idea about Whatsapp because I will never install that onto any of my phones.
