With the apparent launch success (retailers showing out of stock/taking back orders; who knows how "successful" the launch really was), hopefully this will give some carriers some incentive that they could sell devices in store.

Who knows. Just a man with a wish

Maybe if BlackBerry Mobile "shared" data on how many devices were moved.... as it stands wouldn't be too sure to call the US launch a "success". I expect Amazon and Best Buys lack of stock had more to do with the sell outs than any apparent overwhelming demand.

Carrier's have lived these launches with BlackBerry.... big demand on the front end that drops way off afterwards. SPRINT's the only one with no BlackBerry experience in four years. What will get Carriers, is Enterprise demand... if there is any, they will stock them.
