Like many others, I went down the syncing with an Outlook.com account to get my desktop PC Office account to sync with my Blackberry.
It worked fine with my Z10 and Z30. It has with my Keyone from September (when I got it) until 23rd November.
I've just figured out that since then "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly." (ha ha ha)
I've not changed any settings in the Calender and Contacts, yet they are not working. I get email direct off my own ISP's server so don't use that. That's fine.
Any ideas? I've messed around for a while and tried a few things (hard reset, changing outlook server address) to no avail.
Explains a couple of recent diary failures! But is annoying that I've not spotted it before, 'cos I now cannot recall what I might have changed on the 23rd.
Was wondering whether to try a different solution entirely, but what?
As another option, I used the DejaOffice app to sync my Microsoft Office Outlook desktop software (if that is what you are alluding to) to my Passport and now use it to sync to my KEYone. The app has worked great for me with both BB10 and Android.
Alas, I'm not on Office 365. The free version doesn't offer that. (At least I don't think so.) Goes off to check.... Anyway, why should it randomly stop???? Hey ho, who knows.
Done that, tried the MS fix. Still won't work. It seems to be a KeyOne issue. It's syncing email, just not calendar or contacts.
Bit the bullet and removed and reinstalled the entire account, having first brought the onlnie calendar up to date. After a lot of messing around, as you have to ensure it is an exchange account, got calendar etc back. I used a different Outlook server address, which may have caused it.
