So blackberry 2 day shipped my new supposedly fixed keyone. They included a return shipping label for my defective unit. I have no way of knowing if this phone's screen actually has adhesive. But I guess time will tell.

Yay!!!! I'm am positive that you will receive a 'new' 2nd or 3rd batch of the KEYone, that does not have those problems from the 1st batch. TCL is committed to the buyers to have these phones be almost 100% perfect.
Congratulations!
We'll see. Proof is in the pudding.

for the love of God please don't go doing bend tests to check it.
People are having issues even without doing a so-called "bend test."
This is true. Mine was perfect until the lower right part became looser, and would "pop" when I'd click the square.
When taking off the Dual Shell Case, I sort of bend the phone, or twist it to pop it out of the case. And just like that, the loose right corner caused the whole screen to totally pop out. It had been loose for days before this happened.
My new one seems to be perfect though, but then again, so was the first one I got haha
I just got a Keyone here in Germany, ordered it yesterday. On that package it says imported from some France address.
There is also an IMEI Sticker on the back saying "Date 280617". Could that be the new device or still an old one with the display problem?
I am pretty sure that this is already a fixed unit. I got mine just two days ago and it also says France on the sticker as well as a production date 29.06.17. I think these batches already have the new adhesive under the screen. So far no issues whatsoever with my phone. Time will tell. Still have to get used a little bit to the 'small' keyboard compared to my passport silver edition.
Hope you have better luck with this one. Update us in awhile please with your experience.
how about TCL or our trusted CB actual release the information that any decent company would which provides consumers with the actual information about which dates or device numbers are manufactured with the corrected adhesives???
@Mtro: which production date is the new one?
Where do I find the date? I've looked on the box and inside.
One one of the sides of the box is a string of numbers saying something like 190617
I searched the entire box. Maybe it was on the sticker holding it closed. I can't read what was there. Oh well
if I remember correctly, it is on the outer sleeve, not the inner box that's on your picture.
Have a look at the protection sticker that was on the screen?
Waiting for K1 rev.1
my date was on the screen and the box. date on my Phone is 110617. and No problems so far
I've had two from amazon - neither had any build date information - that said - if they know which batch allegedly was affected they should identify them - the truth probably is ALL devices pre this fix were affected - why the ambiguous responses - where is the definitive information
I also think it's every device and depends on luck.
My information were on an IMEI sticker, on the protection on the device's back which you get off before using the Keyone.
It stated "Date 28062017" . Guess they should have known the issue way before end of june right?
I like the device as a secondary device, mine ist very resposinve and no issues at all but don't wanna be affected by this screen problem.
Yeah no date anywhere. I was told over the phone that it would Def be the fixed version. I take it with a grain of salt though. If the screen pops off again. I'll have them send out another new one. Having back up phones to use makes it not really a huge deal. They do send the phone out extremely quick.
