Those are monthly sec patches only, so don't expect feature updates or big fixes. They can happen but not very likely. Most feature updates work through app updates of those BlackBerry apps.

Finally, after endless amounts of manually checking for updates for the past month on my BBB100-2 KeyOne, this morning, I woke up, checked for updates and the phone started downloading the update then installed it.

I got AAM481 which is the July 5th Security Patch so I guess BlackBerry decided to skip the June Patch altogether on my phone and jumped straight to the July Patch

I live in Dubai by the way

Here in the US with -001, it doesn't show the date like yours. In stead it reads 'Fabrique en Chine' under Made in China.

Same here. My Canadian Rogers KEYone also doesn't have the date.

God, I hate this waiting crap. It's the same thing we had with the Priv, some are getting the update while others are still waiting a few more days or weeks.
I really wish I new 100% why this happens, I don't mind waiting but I do mind having no explanation what so ever why some with BBB100-2 got the update while others are still waiting for it.

It's because updates are released according to region or country, and maybe carrier. There may be other reasons as well.

I haven't received push notifications from any application since the June update. Only way to get them it to keep the application open in the background

Which only affects AAL964. So not everyone would be aware.

Well that is a dumb logic, if you have 1-2-3 models, at least release the updates for each
model at the same time so no matter the country or carrier everyone gets the update at the same time.

I'm not guessing. Here is a quote on the release: "The July update for KEYone appears as build number AAM481 and is currently rolling out to the various KEYone models across regions. If you haven't received it as of yet, just check back later."
It's right there on the CB home page in news.
Besides that is the way every manufacturer and carrier has been doing it for years. It will arrive when it arrives.
