Finally, after endless amounts of manually checking for updates for the past month on my BBB100-2 KeyOne, this morning, I woke up, checked for updates and the phone started downloading the update then installed it.

I got AAM481 which is the July 5th Security Patch so I guess BlackBerry decided to skip the June Patch altogether on my phone and jumped straight to the July Patch

I live in Dubai by the way

    Changelog:

Same here in Abu Dhabi, jumped from April to July. After numerous tweets and emails to blackberry and the carrier they said yesterday that we'll get it today and that they will review the update process because it seemed like they forgot.

As I said, I need some time with the phone before I can tell you what's new or changed. I just installed it a couple of hours ago.

This should be mentioned by BlackBerry not users, like Apple every time it release any updates they will mention what's new at in this update

when did you ever see BlackBerry have a changelog for any OS update? never!

Even Samsung doesn't post changelogs, they keep it as a surprise for the users!

BlackBerry powered by Android Security Bulletin – July 2017 <-- as close to a changelog as you'll get. Happens every month.

Those are monthly sec patches only, so don't expect feature updates or big fixes. They can happen but not very likely. Most feature updates work through app updates of those BlackBerry apps.

Like wise Well, there are different versions of the KEYone, depending on its intended market. For example, we have the BBB100-2 version (Europe, Middle East and Africa), while the American version is BBB100-1 (Canada, USA and the rest of the Americas I think) and the CDMA version is BBB100-3 (USA on Verizon and Sprint networks).

But why are there BBB100-2 devices from the Middle East which didn't get the June patches and stayed on April, but did get the July patch already --- and then there are BBB100-2 devices from Western Europe which got the June patches and are still waiting for the July patches?

I have two, actually. The first one got caught in a huge wave on the Acapulco shore resulting in water damage. I imported both from the UK. Haven't had any problems with either of them, well except for the water damage of course, lol, but that was my own fault

I can't answer that with certainty, but I would assume it has to do with the operators.
