I picked up a KEYone yesterday from Bell, yeah me. LOL. Good thing I called before the store opened to put a reserve on one, as the three they received were gone at lunch time. This was in Red Deer, Alberta.

Anyhow, I put in a 16gb Lexar SD card that I had sitting around, but a message came up after formatting the card saying "the Lexar SD is too slow." Paraphrasing obviously. What SD card are you using for your KEYone?

Any with UHC Speed class 3 will work fine. The symbol is a "U" with a "3" inside. The slower cards only have a "U" with a "1" or even a "C" with a "10" inside or less.

+1 on the Samsungs -- I have an EVO 128gb and it works swimmingly.

I had picked up a 128GB SanDisk Class 10 last week. It was on sale $55 at CanadaComputers. So I price matched it at BestBuy where it was $99. Going to try it out this evening. I'll come back and post my thoughts.

I've always loved my SanDisk cards. I have two 64GB SanDisks. I hear Samsung is great for storage media these days.

echoing those who have posted already, samsungs are a good choice.
I too am looking for an SD card for my anticipated K1.

One thing to keep in mind is that the SD625 is rated for UHS-1 so don't bother paying a premium for UHS-3 cards as it won't make a difference.

UHS (Roman numerals I, II or III) is a different thing than the UHS Speed Class (the "U" with a "3" or "1" inside). The speed class is also valid for the UHS I and II interface cards.

Yes I should have been more specific,
the bus terminal on the SD625 (UHS I/II/III) is rated for UHS I, thus buying SD cards of higher bus speeds will make no difference.
You can however, choose from whatever write speed (C2/4/6/10, U1/3, etc) available for the UHS-I bus

Basically, you don't need microSD cards which look like this:

    Good SD card for KEYone-363px-lexar_1000x_microsdhc_uhs-ii_u3_class_10_-_back.jpg

While they will still work, the KEYone can't take advantage of the second row of pins.

Hey, hi Red Deerion (me from the east side) . I am running a Lexar also but the 200gb no problems with my Dtek60.
My Nephew works at Bell and I was surprised to hear him that he is interested in getting the KEYone. I would get one but I am Berry Poor.

I would stick to Samsung brand and very careful with cheap cards that look too good of a bargain. Lots of fakes out there.

Been using a 128GB Class 10 U1 SanDisk since early last year. Samsung and SanDisk are the two that I trust.
