Asked now somebody from Otto.de and he confirmed via the Chat, that Mid May is what they got from the supplier / or manufacturer. I pointed out, that there was an announcment from TCL (Cistulli), that there could appear delays. But the chat-partner confirmed, that this is the latest information they got.

So, German availability in May already ?! Would be superb ...

I think with "Mid May", we'll end up no earlier than May 25th...

Fact, Media Markt keeps up this date since weeks and still sticks to it. Should we believe that or is that their tactic to Grab the orders from the early adopters?

Ok, considering the inofficiall information from Weibo (someone well informed wrote, that the first devices arrive in China in week 3 of May), I don't have high hopes that Media Markt can keep that date.

Mid-May could be a bit more likely, but also challenging then.

Just had another chat, this time with Saturn (we all know MediaMarkt and Saturn are practically the same). One interesting info was that they receive the KEYone DIRECTLY from BlackBerry. The provided release date (May 4th) comes directly from BlackBerry and not a distributor or anything.

So if this date doesn't change chances are good that it really will be available on that day. Fingers crossed.

I'm not sure if that is a good or a bad sign. If media markt needs such advertisements, they're maybe disappointed with the number of preorders so far...

It's a 32GB Class 10 card. Usually 9,99€. No sane person buys these anymore... so it might be a way to empty their stock.
