    Geotagging photos that are uploaded to a Mac is not recognized with photo.app (macOS Sierra) - Priv same problem. I tested with a Samsung S7 and it works.

    On mine, it is not even geotagging them... Location is on but not one single picture has location

    I had the same issue. Fixed it by opening the Dtek app. Under application permissions->camera the GPS was not enabled. Enabled it there and now photos are geotagged.
